Ruby Bridges Walk to School

This historic annual event, inspired by 5th graders who wanted to commemorate Ruby Bridges’ brave walk to integrate an all-white school in 1960, promotes civil rights and student leadership. Walk with us to Rosa Parks Elementary School and hear from keynote speaker Deborah Carlino, co-founder of the Ruby Bridges Walk movement.
