City and County of San Francisco – Community Meeting
The Police Commission is seeking community input to help shape the qualifications and priorities for the critical leadership role of police chief. Your participation is essential to make sure the new chief reflects the values and needs of our city. A summary of all collected input will be provided to the Police Commission and the public in advance of the candidate interviews in October.
These meetings are a chance to share what you believe are the most important attributes for the next police chief. Whether it’s a commitment to community policing, reforms, investigations, transparency, a specific set of skills, or some other matter, this is your chance to influence the decision.
