MAGIC Resource Guide
MAGIC has developed an inclusive directory of services provided in Bayview Hunters Point and Fillmore/Western Addition for children, youth and families. The purpose of the MAGIC Resource Guide is to assist children, youth, families, and service providers in finding information, opportunities and activities that are appropriate and valuable to their needs. We will continue to update this Resource Guide on our website, to reflect organizational changes and new resources.
Disclaimer: MAGIC may not have personal experience in working with all organizations listed in the guide and cannot confirm the quality of their services.
Note: The Guide can be printed as a booklet via this link. We provide a free paperback edition of the Resource Guide which we disperse throughout the City and also make available upon request. To request printed copies, please email vernon@bayviewmagic.org.
MAGIC ONE-PAGER
Check out MAGIC’s new one-pager, highlighting our mission, work and impact throughout the years! MAGIC was started in the Bayview in 2004 by the Public Defenders Office as a way to stop the youth from entering the criminal justice system, later expanding to the Fillmore in 2006. Last year alone, we provided 2,300+ youth with summer enrichment opportunities that exposed them to STEM, reading, outdoor activities, and team-building exercises. We host and participate in various community events throughout the year, engaging with over 1,600 youth and their families. In the past 20 years, we have served over 300,000 families.
